Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Study
Surveillance initiative to systematically collect and analyze data on antimicrobial resistance in clinical and environmental settings—particularly focusing on pathogens like Salmonella Typhi, non-typhoidal Salmonella, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and other Gram-negative bacteria in sub-Saharan Africa. The project establishes standardized laboratory protocols and builds capacity following WHO GLASS guidelines and integrating genomic tools to characterize resistance mechanisms and transmission patterns.
