Dr. (Mrs.) Yaa Asantewaa Osei serves as the Study Pharmacist at the KNUST-IVI Collaborative Centre, where she leads the pharmacy team in ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant management of investigational drugs throughout the entire clinical trial lifecycle. Her role encompasses oversight of drug storage, preparation, dispensing, accountability, and documentation, with a strong emphasis on protocol adherence, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory compliance. She plays a critical role in safeguarding participant safety and ensuring the integrity of trial outcomes.

In addition to her clinical trial responsibilities, Dr. Osei is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutics, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She holds a B.Pharm, an MPhil in Pharmaceutics, and a PhD in Pharmacy.

Her research focuses on drug delivery systems and formulation science, with a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Her work advances innovative pharmaceutical technologies that enhance therapeutic effectiveness and patient outcomes.
